This backlink generating technique is simple but highly effective. Find a list of DoFollow blogs - OK, here it is - and visit those that are relevant to your website's niche or content. Post brief comments that are relevant to the article but DON'T put your link in the comment ONLY put your website link in the field allowed on the comment form. This will mean when anyone clicks on your name it will bring them to your website but also, because it is a DoFollow blog (like this one), it will also give you a backlink for your site.
Try to visit each blog on a regular basis because search engines will give more credence to links from more recent articles than old ones and of course, each time you post on a blog you can deeplink to a different page of your website.
